Stanley Mugerwa had a very impressive game in the last round for KCCA Panthers, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 25.
The player had a double-double of 19 points and 16 rebounds, while his team edged out UCU Canons (#5, 8-7) 58-56. KCCA P. is placed at 4th position in Ugandan NBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. KCCA P. will need more victories to improve their 9-7 record. In the team's last game Mugerwa had a remarkable 61.5% from 2-point range. It was one of impressive evenings for him as usually he does not deliver so high stats. Stanley Mugerwa averages this season 9.9ppg and 8.4rpg.

The second best player in last round's games was Puati Kikomba (F/C) of Sommet BC. Kikomba had a very good evening with a double-double of 11 points and 15 rebounds. Bad luck as Sommet lost that game 65-70 to the higher-ranked Rezlife S. (#3, 11-4). This loss caused Sommet to drop to 6th position in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 8-7 record is not bad and everything may still change. Kikomba is one of the most experienced players at Sommet and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third on the list of top players last round was international guard Peter Obleng (190-G-2003) of league's second-best Namuwongo Blazers. Obleng scored 23 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. He was a key player of Blazers, leading his team to a 93-47 easy win against the lower-ranked JKL Dolphins (#9, 5-11). Many experts and fans count Blazers as a contender for championship title. Another victory and another confirmation that they may be right. Just look at their record: 13 victories and only one lost game. Obleng has a great season in Uganda. After 14 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 14.4ppg (6th best).

The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
