Forward Mercy Batamuliza (F) had an amazing evening in the last round for league's best team JT Lady Jaguars and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 16.
She had a double-double of 10 points and 13 rebounds, while her team outclassed Miracle (#10, 3-8) with 42-point margin 77-35. It allowed Lady Jaguars to take over top position in the Ugandan NBL. Lady Jaguars has a very good season and are considered to have a run for the championship title. They improved their record to 9-1. It's Batamuliza's second year at Lady Jaguars and it's hard to imagine this team without her. Batamuliza has impressive league stats. She leads league in rebounds with 11.8rpg. Batamuliza is in league's top in and averages solid 3.3spg.

Second best performed player last round was Grace Namuli (G-1998) of Magic Stormers Kampala. She is a guard in her 3rd season at Magic S.. In the last game Namuli recorded an impressive 15 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists. It was enough for Magic S. to edge the lower-ranked She Crocs (#9, 4-7) by 5 points 59-54. This victory allowed Magic S. to move up to 6th position in the standings. Her team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 5-6 record. Namuli is one of the most experienced players at Magic S. and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to another Magic S.'s star - Kur Ajah. Ajah scored 16 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. She was another key player of Magic Stormers Kampala, helping her team with a 59-54 win against the lower-ranked She Crocs (#9, 4-7). The chances of Magic S. ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 6 games, recording just five victories. With bigger assistance of her teammates, Ajah could help Magic S. to bring them higher in the standings. Ajah has a very solid season. In 7 games in Uganda she scored 9.9ppg.
