Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management.

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Lady Canons as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Lady Canons defeated 9th ranked Miracle in Kampala 54-36. Lady Canons held Miracle to an opponent 18.8 percent shooting from the field compared to 31.1 percent accuracy of the winners. Lady Canons forced 25 Miracle turnovers and outrebounded them 64-40 including a 46-31 advantage in defensive rebounds. Sylivia Nakituuka stepped up and scored 3 points, 12 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals for the winners and Matrina Anyango chipped in 11 points and 6 rebounds. At the losing side guard Akello Winnifred (-2001) responded with 15 points and 9 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Lady Canons (7-1) have an impressive series of six victories in a row. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Miracle lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the ninth place with six games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Kampala: KCCA Leopards (#3) and Tomahawks (#5). KCCA Leopards (7-2) crushed visiting Tomahawks (4-4) by 22 points 66-44. The former international guard Tracy Namugosa (170-2000) nailed 30 points and 6 steals for the winning side and Ninette Uwineza accounted for 18 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Ruth Letaru (-1997) came up with 12 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals for Tomahawks in the defeat. Tomahawks' coach gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for KCCA Leopards. They moved-up to second place. Tomahawks at the other side keep the fifth position with four games lost. They share it with She Crocs and Peal Queens. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.

Defending champion maintains fourth place with 5-1 record. Angels lost their seventh game in a row. They still close the standings with seven games lost. Lady Dolphins will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Angels' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Kampala Lady Jaguars.

In the last two games of round 13 Nabisunsa was destroyed by Lady Jaguars on the opponent's court 86-41. Winless Angels were outscored by Peal Queens in a home game 39-70.

Very expected game in Kampala where 11th ranked Nabisunsa (1-6) was crushed by third ranked Lady Jaguars (6-1) 86-41 on Saturday. Lady Jaguars dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Nabisunsa's 18. Lady Jaguars forced 26 Nabisunsa turnovers and outrebounded them 38-27 including 24 on the defensive glass. Lady Jaguars looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Nabisunsa's players. Sandra Wangeshi fired 14 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. International swingman Shakirah Nanvubya (172-2000) chipped in 18 points. Four Lady Jaguars players scored in double figures. Auma Joy produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 13 rebounds and Martha Yikiru added 15 points respectively for lost side. Nigerian Iriele Jane Chisom (-2000) chipped in 10 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Rebecca Namatovu produced 13 points and 5 rebounds and Joan Namatovu (-1999) added 8 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
