Micheal Otieno's triple-double lands him Player of the Week award

Experienced Micheal Otieno (193-G-1993) had an amazing evening in the last round for league's leader Rezlife Saints and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 11.
The 32-year old guard recorded a triple-double of 20 points adding also 10 rebounds and 10 assists, while his team crushed Kampala R. (#10, 1-4) with 16-point margin 73-57. It allowed Rezlife S. to jump to the first place in the Ugandan NBL. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Rezlife S. already had a very good start winning all 5 without losing a single one. In the team's last game Otieno had a remarkable 62.5% from 2-point range and got three three-pointers out of 6 attempts. He has many years of experience at Rezlife S., through which he has constantly improved. Otieno has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (2nd best: 16.8ppg), assists (3rd best: 5.0apg) and averages solid 53.7% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was Chuol Nyuot of second-ranked Victoria Crocs. Nyuot impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 23 points and 10 rebounds. Of course he led Victoria Crocs to another comfortable win 75-57 over UMU (#12, 0-5) being unquestionably team leader. Victoria Crocs' second position in the standings has not changed. His team lost just one game this season, while they won 5 matches. Nyuot is a newcomer at Victoria Crocs and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 14.0ppg (#7). He also registered 10.2 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was another Victoria Crocs' star - Mark Ngobi. Ngobi scored 21 points and passed 4 assists. He was another key player of Victoria Crocs, helping his team with a 75-57 easy win against UMU (#12, 0-5). Victoria Crocs is closer and closer to top of the standings. They will still need more victories. But 5-1 record is not that bad... Ngobi has a great season in Uganda. After only 5 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 15.4ppg (4th best).
