Namugosa number one in Uganda NBL for round 10 (by Hoops Agents)

International Guard Tracy Namugosa (170-G-2000) had a very impressive game in the last round for second-ranked KCCA Leopards, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 10.
The 25-year old player was the main contributor (23 points, five rebounds and five assists) to her team's victory, helping them to crush Magic S. (#10, 1-5) with 19-point margin 73-54. KCCA Leopards maintains the 2nd position in Ugandan NBL. They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. KCCA Leopards will need more victories to improve their 5-2 record. In the team's last game Namugosa had a remarkable 87.5% from 2-point range. She turned to be KCCA Leopards' top player in her first season with the team. Tracy Namugosa has solid league stats. She is league's best scorer averaging so far 19.6ppg. Namugosa is in league's top in assists (7th best: 3.4apg) and averages impressive 3.1spg and 56.3% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was another KCCA Leopards' star - young Burundian Ninette Uwineza (G-1988). Uwineza had a very good evening with 16 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists. Of course together with Namugosa she helped KCCA Leopards with another comfortable win 73-54 over the lower-ranked Magic S. (#10, 1-5) being unquestionably team leader. KCCA Leopards' second position in the standings has not changed. Her team's 5-2 record is not bad at all. Uwineza is well-known at KCCA Leopards and together with Tracy Namugosa are proven team's leaders.

Third on the list of top players last round was Cindealla Anena of KIU Rangers (#8). Anena scored 14 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. Despite Anena's great performance the KIU Rangers lost 40-51 to the higher-ranked Lady Canons (#1, 5-1). But her team cannot count on just a single player as she also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of KIU Rangers ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 3 games, recording just two victories. With bigger assistance of her teammates, Anena could help KIU Rangers to bring them higher in the standings. Anena has a great season in Uganda. After only 4 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 10.8rpg (5th best).
