Nyuot's double-double lands him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

Chuol Nyuot had a great game in the last round for Victoria Crocs and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 9.
He had a double-double of 16 points and 13 rebounds, while his team beat JKL Dolphins (#10, 1-4) 63-51. Victoria Crocs is placed at 3rd position in Ugandan league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. Victoria Crocs will need more victories to improve their 3-1 record. It was one of impressive evenings for Nyuot as usually he does not deliver so high stats. Nyuot has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in rebounds (6th best: 10.3rpg).

Second best performed player last round was Erick Komagum. He is a in his first season at Victoria Crocs. In the last game Komagum recorded an impressive double-double of 13 points and 13 rebounds. Of course Victoria Crocs cruised to a 63-51 relatively comfortable win over the lower-ranked JKL Dolphins (#10, 1-4). This victory allowed Victoria Crocs to move up to 3rd position in the standings. His team's 3-1 record is not bad at all. Komagum is a newcomer at Victoria Crocs and despite he is not a team leader yet, every game he becomes more reliable player. Hopefully performances like the last one will happen more often.

Third place about best performers goes to Ekirapa Zachariah of UCU Canons Kampala (#6). Zachariah scored 24 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. He was a key player of UCU Canons, leading his team to a 66-65 win against slightly higher-ranked Sommet (#5, 3-2). UCU Canons needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 2 victories and 1 lost game. Zachariah has a great season in Uganda. After only 3 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 14.0ppg (6th best).
