KPA Women’s Basketball Team delivered another dominant display in the FIBA Women’s Basketball League Africa 2025 Qualifiers, cruising past Magic Stormers with a resounding 94–41 victory. KPA started strongly, establishing control early with a 21–8 first-quarter lead driven by their fast-paced offense and tight defensive pressure. They continued to build momentum in the second quarter, stretching the gap to 50–20 at halftime through efficient ball movement and accurate shooting. The third and fourth quarters saw KPA maintain their high tempo, outscoring the Stormers in every period while showcasing their depth and teamwork. Despite the Stormers’ effort to stay competitive, KPA’s experience and intensity were unmatched, sealing a commanding win that reaffirmed their position as one of the favorites in the Zone Five qualifiers. Alima Doumbia (2002) top-scored for the winners with 17 points and Ifunanya Okoro (183-G-1999) as well as Aminata Ly (193-C-2000, college: Fordham) had 16 points each. Angella Auma (2007) answered with 12 points in a loss. |
