Center Maker Mer orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 14 rebounds. Canadian guard Chad Bowie (188-1996, college: SHSU) contributed with 19 points, 5 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Forward Peter Cheng answered with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 15 rebounds and DR Congolese forward Franck Nyembo (200-2006) added 13 points and 12 rebounds in the effort for Sommet. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
