Blazers forced 27 UCU Canons turnovers. 29 personal fouls committed by UCU Canons helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for Arthur Wanyoto who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 14 rebounds. The former international guard Peter Obleng (190-2003) contributed with 13 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Five Blazers players scored in double figures. Jimmy Otim (-1999) answered with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and international center Joel Kayira (208-2001) added 14 points and 12 rebounds in the effort for UCU Canons. UCU Canons' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.

Central African guard Kurt-Curry Wegscheider (196-2001, college: LCU) helped adding 19 points. Four City Oilers players scored in double figures. City Oilers' coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The best for the losing side was DR Congolese forward Franck Nyembo (200-2006) with 19 points and 8 rebounds and guard Kasereka Tembo scored 16 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists.
