Nyembo's double-double lands him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

19-year old DR Congolese forward Franck Nyembo (200-F-2006) had a very impressive game in the last round for second-ranked Sommet BC and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 30.
He had a double-double of 17 points and 15 rebounds, while his team beat KCCA P. (#8, 12-12) 74-64. Sommet is placed at 2nd position in Ugandan league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Sommet will need more victories to improve their 15-8 record. In the team's last game Nyembo had a remarkable three three-pointers out of 6 attempts. He turned to be Sommet's top player in his first season with the team. Franck Nyembo averages this season 18.9ppg and 11.6rpg.

Second best performed player last round was John Teko. He is a in his first season at Sommet. In the last game Teko recorded an impressive double-double of 15 points and 10 rebounds. Of course together with Nyembo he helped Sommet BC with another comfortable win 75-58 over the lower-ranked KCCA P. (#8, 12-12) being unquestionably team leader. This victory allowed Sommet to move up to second position in the standings. His team's 15-8 record is not bad at all. Teko is a newcomer at Sommet and despite he is not a team leader yet, every game he becomes more reliable player. Hopefully performances like the last one will happen more often.

Third place about best performers goes to another Sommet's star - forward Peter Cheng (F). Cheng scored 20 points and grabbed 21 rebounds (!!!). He was another key player of Sommet BC, helping his team with a 74-64 win against the lower-ranked KCCA P. (#8, 12-12). Cheng has a very solid season. In 11 games in Uganda he scored 16.9ppg.
