Chuol Nyuot gets MVP of the Week award for Ugandan NBL

Chuol Nyuot had a great game in the last round for Victoria Crocs and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 29.
The had a double-double of 21 points and 16 rebounds, while his team outclassed KIU Titans (#11, 2-20) with 30-point margin 84-54. The game was not the highest importance and did not have significant influence on top of the standings. Victoria C. maintains the 9th position in Ugandan NBL. Victoria C. is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 11-10 record. In the team's last game Nyuot had a remarkable 60.0% from 2-point range. It was one of impressive evenings for him as usually he does not deliver so high stats. Nyuot has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in rebounds (6th best: 10.1rpg) and averages solid 1.7bpg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was Hon Kwany of KIU Titans Kampala. Kwany impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 19 points and 15 rebounds. Bad luck as KIU Titans lost that game 54-84 to slightly higher-ranked Victoria C. (#9, 11-10). The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. KIU Titans keeps 11th position. 20 lost games are too many comparing to just two victories KIU Titans managed to get this year. Kwany is a newcomer at KIU Titans and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was another Victoria C.'s star - Erick Komagum. Komagum scored 14 points and grabbed 11 rebounds (!!!). He was another key player of Victoria Crocs, helping his team with a 84-54 easy win against slightly lower-ranked KIU Titans (#11, 2-20). Komagum has a very solid season. In 19 games in Uganda he scored 6.3ppg.
