Uganda open Day 2 with win over Guinea

Uganda opened Day 2 with the win over Guinea at the AfroBasket Women 2025. Uganda celebrated an initial win, whilst Guinea fell at 0-2 record in Group C.
Uganda started with a 24-19 run and added a 21-12 rally in the second period. They exploded with a 28-12 surge in the third quarter and closed the game with a final 15-8 rally.
