DR Congolese Esther Mpongo (2006) had an amazing evening in the last round for Miracle Ravens, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 21.
The 19-year old player had a double-double of 19 points and 22 rebounds, while her team outclassed, the league's bottom-ranked team Nkumba LM (#12, 0-17) with 26-point margin 81-55. Miracle is placed at 6th position in Ugandan NBL. Miracle is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 7-8 record. Mpongo has many years of experience at Miracle, through which she has constantly improved. Esther Mpongo averages this season 10.6ppg and 13.1rpg.

The second best player in last round's games was Mutesi Nasiimu of UPDF Lady Tomahawks. Nasiimu had a very good evening with a double-double of 17 points and 18 rebounds. Of course she led Lady Tomahawks to another comfortable win 85-66 over Nkumba LM (#12, 0-17) being unquestionably team leader. This victory allowed Lady Tomahawks to move up to 7th position in the standings. Her team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 6-8 record. Nasiimu is one of the most experienced players at Lady Tomahawks and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third on the list of top players last round was Shalom Muwanguzi of Nkumba Lady Marines (#12). Muwanguzi showcased her all-around game by recording 21 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists in the last round. Despite Muwanguzi's great performance the Nkumba LM lost 66-85 to the higher-ranked Lady Tomahawks (#7, 6-8). But her team cannot count on just a single player as she also needs help of the other teammates. Muwanguzi has a very solid season. In 17 games in Uganda she scored 8.2ppg.
