Nyuot's double-double lands him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

Chuol Nyuot put on an amazing game in the last round for Victoria Crocs and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 27.
He had a double-double of 25 points and 15 rebounds, while his team beat City Oilers (#7, 11-9) 65-52. Victoria C. maintains the 9th position in Ugandan league. Victoria C. is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 9-10 record. In the team's last game Nyuot had a remarkable five three-pointers out of 10 attempts. He has many years of experience at Victoria C., through which he has constantly improved. Nyuot has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in rebounds (7th best: 9.8rpg) and averages solid 1.7bpg.

Second best performed player last round was Puati Kikomba (F/C) of Kampala Rockets. He is a forward in his first (recently joined) season at Kampala R.. In the last game Kikomba recorded an impressive 12 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists. Of course he led Kampala R. to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Livingstone (#12, 1-18) 75-53. This victory allowed Kampala R. to move up to 3rd position in the standings. His team's 13-8 record is not bad at all. Kikomba is one of the most experienced players at Kampala R. and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to another Kampala R.'s star - Mpiya Juf. Juf scored 16 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. He was another key player of Kampala Rockets, helping his team with a 75-53 easy win against the lower-ranked Livingstone (#12, 1-18). Kampala R. needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 13 victories and 8 lost games. Juf has a very solid season. In 21 games in Uganda he scored 10.2ppg.
