Kesseng number one in Uganda NBL for round 25

Kesseng Kesseng had a very impressive game in the last round for JKL Dolphins Kampala, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 25.
The player had a double-double of 18 points and 16 rebounds, while his team in a lost game to Blazers (#1, 17-3) 62-74. JKL Dolphins moved-up to the 10th position in Ugandan NBL. JKL Dolphins is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. But it was their 11th lost game this season out of 19 games. Kesseng has many years of experience at JKL Dolphins, through which he has constantly improved. Kesseng Kesseng averages just after three games 14.3ppg and 19.7rpg.

The second best player in last round's games was young Joseph Chuma (F-1991) of City Oilers Kampala. Chuma had a very good evening with a double-double of 12 points and 10 rebounds. Of course he led City Oilers to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked KIU Titans (#11, 2-18) 101-56. City Oilers' 6th position in the standings has not changed. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 11-7 record is not bad and everything may still change. Chuma is one of the most experienced players at City Oilers and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third on the list of top players last round was Jimmy Lihumi of league's second-best UCU Canons Kampala. Lihumi scored 12 points and grabbed 14 rebounds (!!!). Despite Lihumi's great performance the UCU Canons lost 60-62 to #3 ranked Sommet. But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The last thing UCU Canons needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 13 victories and 9 lost games. Lihumi has a very solid season. In 22 games in Uganda he scored 3.7ppg.

8. James Okello (193-PF-1990) of Blazers - 16 points, 2 rebounds and 4 assists
9. Joel Lukoji (2001) of Blazers - 20 points, 4 rebounds and 6 assists
10. Lwabaga Ibanda) of UCU Canons - 23 points and 4 rebounds
