Kesseng's double-double lands him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

Kesseng Kesseng had a great game in the last round for JKL Dolphins Kampala and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 24.
He had a double-double of 15 points and 23 rebounds, while his team crushed KIU Titans (#11, 2-17) with 18-point margin 71-53. The game rather meaningless between the teams, which do not have any influence on top of the standings. Thanks to this victory JKL Dolphins moved-up to the 10th position in Ugandan league. JKL Dolphins is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 8-11 record. Kesseng has many years of experience at JKL Dolphins, through which he has constantly improved. Kesseng Kesseng averages just after three games 14.3ppg and 19.7rpg.

Second best performed player last round was Joel Kayira (208-C-2001) of league's second-best UCU Canons Kampala. He is international center in his 3rd season at UCU Canons. In the last game Kayira recorded an impressive double-double of 20 points and 21 rebounds. Bad luck as UCU Canons lost that game 59-72 to slightly lower-ranked Kampala R. (#4, 12-8). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. UCU Canons still maintains its place in the top 2 of the standings, even despite this loss. His team's 13-9 record is not bad at all. Kayira is one of the most experienced players at UCU Canons and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to Isaac Athuai of Livingstone (#12). Athuai scored 20 points and grabbed 12 rebounds (!!!). Despite Athuai's great performance the Livingstone lost 46-79 to the higher-ranked UCU Canons (#2, 13-9). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Livingstone can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have extremely bad season and 1-16 record places them at the very bottom of the standings. Athuai has a very solid season. In 16 games in Uganda he scored 9.1ppg.
