The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Kampala: Rezlife S. (#8) and UCU Canons (#5). UCU Canons were defeated at home 54-62 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. The best player for the winners was guard Micheal Otieno (193-1993) who scored 24 points. Akena Desire chipped in 6 points and 13 rebounds. International center Joel Kayira (208-2001) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Despite that victory Rezlife S. went down to ninth position due to points difference. Kampala R. was defeated at home 81-85 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. Forward Peter Cheng orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 29 points and 15 rebounds. Franck Nyembo contributed with 13 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Power forward Puati Kikomba replied with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds for Kampala R.Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Newly promoted Sommet maintains sixth position with 8-7 record. Kampala R. at the other side keeps the fourth place with six games lost. Sommet's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Kampala City Oilers.

In the last game of round 20 KIU Titans defeated KCCA P. in Kampala 74-61.
