The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Kampala: KCCA Leopards (#3) and KIU Rangers (#8). KCCA Leopards (7-1) won against visiting KIU Rangers (4-6) 75-61. KCCA Leopards dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to KIU Rangers' 14 and made 17-of-20 free shots (85.0 percent) during the game. KCCA Leopards forced 32 KIU Rangers turnovers and outrebounded them 49-28 including a 20-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great evening for Asinah Kabendela who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds. Guard Perus Nyamwenge helped adding 20 points. KCCA Leopards' coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Elizabeth Akol (-1993) responded with 13 points, 6 assists and 5 steals. KCCA Leopards have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They moved-up to second place. KIU Rangers at the other side keep the eighth position with six games lost. It was an exceptional evening for forward Daphine Adong who led the winners and scored 18 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 7 steals. Martha Nakalembe accounted for 18 points. Magic S.'s coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. In the last two games of round 11 Nabisunsa lost to Lady Tomahawks on the opponent's court 71-77. KCCA Leopards managed to outperform Angels in a home game 61-49.
