The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Kampala: UCU Canons (#5) and Jaguars (#3). Jaguars were defeated at home 54-59 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. UCU Canons outrebounded Jaguars 51-39 including 36 on the defensive glass. It was a great evening for international center Joel Kayira (208-2001) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 13 rebounds. Alier Jongroor helped adding 8 points and 10 rebounds. The best for the losing side was Ian Lubwama with 18 points, 9 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals.
