Kikomba's double-double lands him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

Power forward Puati Kikomba (F/C) had a great game in the last round for Kampala Rockets and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 14.
He had a double-double of 12 points and 16 rebounds, while his team edged out City Oilers (#6, 5-5) 53-50. Kampala R. maintains the 4th position in Ugandan league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Kampala R. will need more victories to improve their 7-4 record. It was one of impressive evenings for Kikomba as usually he does not deliver so high stats. Kikomba has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in rebounds (5th best: 11.5rpg) and averages solid 1.9bpg.

Second best performed player last round was Edgar Munaba (196-F-1999) of City Oilers Kampala. He is international forward in his first season at City Oilers. In the last game Munaba recorded an impressive double-double of 16 points and 10 rebounds. Bad luck as City Oilers was edged by slightly higher-ranked Kampala R. (#4, 7-4) 53-50. This loss caused City Oilers to drop to 6th position in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 5-5 record is not bad and everything may still change. Munaba is one of the most experienced players at City Oilers and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to Hon Kwany of Sommet BC (#9). Kwany showcased his all-around game by recording 10 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists in the last round. He was a key player of Sommet, leading his team to a 70-62 win against the higher-ranked Jaguars (#3, 7-3). Kwany has a very solid season. In 10 games in Uganda he scored 6.2ppg.
