The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Kampala: Kampala R. (#8) and JKL Dolphins (#6). JKL Dolphins were defeated at home 61-70 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. Kampala R. had a 38-25 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great evening for Mpiya Juf who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 13 rebounds, 5 assists and 6 steals. Power forward Puati Kikomba helped adding 13 points and 14 rebounds. Center Elvis Bwanka responded with 4 points, 14 rebounds and 5 blocks. JKL Dolphins' coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Kampala R. (4-4) moved-up to sixth place. JKL Dolphins at the other side dropped to the seventh position with five games lost. They share it with Victoria C.. Kampala R.'s supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Kampala KIU Titans.
Another exciting game was again a derby between two teams from Kampala: Blazers (#1) and UCU Canons (#4). UCU Canons were defeated at home 72-82 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of UCU Canons. It was an exceptional evening for DR Congolese Joel Lukoji (-2001) who led the winners and scored 14 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Jimmy Enabu accounted for 10 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. Lwabaga Ibanda came up with 18 points and 5 rebounds for UCU Canons in the defeat. UCU Canons' coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Undefeated Blazers (11-0) have an impressive series of ten victories in a row. They maintain first place with a perfect record of 11 victories in a row. UCU Canons at the other side keep the fourth position with four games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.

The best player for the winners was Moses Mugisha who scored 17 points and 7 rebounds. Francis Kasinde produced 16 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the tenth consecutive win for Blazers. They maintain first place with 11-0 record. Newly promoted Rezlife S. keeps the fifth position with six games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.

In the last game of round 11 Victoria C. lost to City Oilers on the opponent's court 56-60.

City Oilers - Victoria C. 60-56

There was a minor upset in Kampala where 7th ranked Victoria C. (4-5) was defeated by tenth ranked City Oilers (3-4) 60-56 on Wednesday. City Oilers forced 29 Victoria C. turnovers. The best player for the winners was Malual Dier who scored 12 points and 9 rebounds. Forward Joseph Chuma (-1991) chipped in a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds. South Sudanese forward Deng Isaac (206-1982, college: Fairfield) produced 16 points and 7 rebounds and Chuol Nyuot added 9 points and 11 rebounds respectively for the guests. Victoria C.'s coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Defending champion moved-up to ninth place. Victoria C. lost their third game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the seventh position with five games lost. They share it with JKL Dolphins. City Oilers' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Kampala Sommet.
