21-year old guard Peter Obleng (190-G-2003) had a very impressive game in the last round for league's best team Namuwongo Blazers and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 10.
He had the game-high 16 points adding seven rebounds and two assists for Blazers in his team's victory, helping them to outclass Sommet (#9, 3-5) with 29-point margin 91-62. It allowed Blazers to consolidate first place in the Ugandan league. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. It's already very far into the season and Blazers keeps a perfect 9-0 record. Obleng just recently signed at Blazers, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Peter Obleng averages this season 11.8ppg.

Second best performed player last round was Bang Desmasiro of KIU Titans Kampala. He is a in his first season at KIU Titans. In the last game Desmasiro recorded an impressive 21 points and 8 rebounds. Bad luck as KIU Titans lost that game 60-77 to the higher-ranked Sommet (#9, 3-5). The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. KIU Titans is still at the dead bottom 12th position. 8 lost games are too many considering they did not win any game. Desmasiro is one of the most experienced players at KIU Titans and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to center Phillip Ameny (C-1989) of JKL Dolphins Kampala (#6). Ameny showcased his all-around game by recording 15 points, 11 rebounds (!!!) and 4 assists in the last round. Despite Ameny's great performance the JKL Dolphins lost 53-82 to slightly higher-ranked UCU Canons (#4, 5-3). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing JKL Dolphins needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 4 victories and 4 lost games. Ameny has a great season in Uganda. After only 6 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 12.0ppg (9th best).

4. Joseph Chuma (F-1991) of City Oilers - 15 points and 15 rebounds

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
