The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Kampala: JKL Dolphins (#7) and Rezlife S. (#4). JKL Dolphins (3-3) won against visiting Rezlife S. (4-4) 77-68. JKL Dolphins had a 30-17 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of Kabangu Clement who helped to win the game recording 19 points (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) and center Phillip Ameny (-1989) who added 14 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Guard Elvis Ssentongo (-1999) responded with 19 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. JKL Dolphins moved-up to sixth place, which they share with UCU Canons. Newly promoted Rezlife S. dropped to the fifth position with four games lost. JKL Dolphins will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Rezlife S.'s supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Kampala to the arena KIU Titans.
NBL top team - Blazers (8-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed eleventh ranked Livingstone (1-7) in Kampala 81-44. The winners were led by power forward Moses Mugisha (-1984) who scored that evening 15 points and Jimmy Enabu supported him with 13 points. Even 13 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists by Derrick Otim did not help to save the game for Livingstone. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Undefeated Blazers have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 8-0 record. Livingstone lost third consecutive game. They keep the eleventh place with seven games lost. Blazers will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
