Lubwama's double-double lands him Player of the Week award

Ian Lubwama put on an amazing game in the last round for second-ranked JT Jaguars BC and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 7.
He got a double-double of 13 points and 10 assists, while his team outclassed, the league's bottom-ranked team KIU Titans (#12, 0-4) with 43-point margin 80-37. Jaguars is placed at 2nd position in Ugandan league. They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. Jaguars will need more victories to improve their 5-2 record. It was one of impressive evenings for Lubwama as usually he does not deliver so high stats. Lubwama has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in assists (4th best: 3.9apg).

Second best performed player last round was Peter Sifuma (C-1996). He is a center in his first season at Jaguars. In the last game Sifuma recorded an impressive double-double of 22 points and 14 rebounds. Of course together with Lubwama he helped JT Jaguars BC with another comfortable win 70-54 over the lower-ranked Kampala R. (#7, 3-4) being unquestionably team leader. This victory allowed Jaguars to move up to second position in the standings. His team's 5-2 record is not bad at all. Sifuma is one of the most experienced players at Jaguars and similarly like Ian Lubwama has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 13.0ppg (#3). He also registered 10.6 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Joseph Chuma (F-1991) of City Oilers Kampala (#9). Chuma scored 14 points and grabbed 16 rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of City Oilers, leading his team to a 68-62 win against the higher-ranked Rezlife S. (#5, 4-4). The chances of City Oilers not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 2 games, recording just one victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Chuma could try to bring City Oilers' a little bit higher in the standings. Chuma has a very solid season. In 3 games in Uganda he scored 12.0ppg.
