Ronald Ayume gets MVP of the Week award for Ugandan NBL

Ronald Ayume had an amazing evening in the last round for Victoria Crocs and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 6.
The had the game-high 19 points adding six rebounds and four assists for Victoria C. in his team's victory, helping them to beat UCU Canons (#9, 1-3) 77-63. Victoria C. is placed at 5th position in Ugandan NBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost two games earlier this season. Victoria C. will need more victories to improve their 3-2 record. Ayume just recently signed at Victoria C., being already a very valuable addition to the team. Ayume has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (7th best: 12.6ppg).

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young Emmanuel Makuei (2000) of UCU Canons Kampala. Makuei impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 11 points and 12 rebounds. Bad luck as UCU Canons lost that game 63-77 to the higher-ranked Victoria C. (#5, 3-2). This loss caused UCU Canons to drop to 9th position in the standings. 3 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory UCU Canons managed to get this year. Makuei is one of the most experienced players at UCU Canons and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was another Victoria C.'s star - Cedric Alema. Alema showcased his all-around game by recording 8 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists in the last round. He was another key player of Victoria Crocs, helping his team with a 77-63 easy win against the lower-ranked UCU Canons (#9, 1-3). Alema has a great season in Uganda. After only 3 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 6.0apg (best passer).

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
