Ndibu's double-double lands him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

Christian Ndibu had a great game in the last round for Kampala Rockets and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 4.
He had a double-double of 16 points and 14 rebounds, while his team beat Livingstone (#10, 1-4) 59-54. Thanks to this victory Kampala R. moved-up to the 5th position in Ugandan league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost two games earlier this season. Kampala R. will need more victories to improve their 3-2 record. It was one of impressive evenings for Ndibu as usually he does not deliver so high stats. Ndibu has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in rebounds (2nd best: 13.4rpg) and averages solid 1.2bpg.

Second best performed player last round was Kenneth Mesho of JKL Dolphins Kampala. He is a in his first season at JKL Dolphins. In the last game Mesho recorded an impressive double-double of 18 points and 11 rebounds. Bad luck as JKL Dolphins was edged by the higher-ranked Jaguars (#3, 3-1) 62-58. Despite lost game JKL Dolphins moved up to 6th position in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 2-3 record. Mesho is one of the most experienced players at JKL Dolphins and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to another JKL Dolphins' star - Noel Yamodo. Yamodo scored 27 points. He was another key player of JKL Dolphins Kampala, helping his team with a 93-59 easy win against KIU Titans (#12, 0-2). The chances of JKL Dolphins ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 3 games, recording just two victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Yamodo could help JKL Dolphins to bring them higher in the standings. Yamodo has a great season in Uganda. After only 3 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 13.0ppg (9th best).
