Talented Mariam Namukwaya (2005) put on an amazing game in the last round for Miracle Ravens and that's her to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 2.
The 19-year old had a double-double of 31 points and 13 rebounds, while her team beat KCCA Leopards (2-1) 80-75. Miracle is placed at 3rd position in Ugandan NBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. Miracle will need more victories to improve their 2-1 record. In the team's last game Namukwaya had a remarkable 61.5% from 2-point range. It's her second year at Miracle and it's hard to imagine this team without her. Namukwaya has impressive league stats. She is in league's top in points (3rd best: 20.0ppg) and averages solid 55.2% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was Mutesi Nasiimu of UPDF Lady Tomahawks. Nasiimu impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 20 points and 17 rebounds. Of course she led Lady Tomahawks to another comfortable win 62-47 over Nkumba LM (0-4) being unquestionably team leader. The season is still at the very beginning and this victory may help a lot. Let's wait for the next round. Nasiimu is a newcomer at Lady Tomahawks and it seems she did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was Tracy Namugosa (G) of KCCA Leopards (#6). Namugosa scored 23 points and passed 7 assists. Despite Namugosa's great performance the KCCA Leopards lost 75-80 to Miracle (2-1). But her team cannot count on just a single player as she also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing KCCA Leopards needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 2 victories and 1 lost game. Namugosa has a great season in Uganda. After only 3 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 17.7ppg (4th best) and assists with 5.0apg (3rd best).

The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
