Blazers had a 34-23 advantage in offensive rebounds. American-Togolese guard Jimmy Williams (196-1986, college: ABU) fired 21 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. The former international guard Ochera Innocent (-1997) chipped in a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds. Williams is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Blazers players scored in double figures. The former international guard Peter Obleng (190-2003) produced 19 points and 5 rebounds and the former international forward Edgar Munaba (196-1999) added 12 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side.

Worth to mention a great performance of center Maker Mer who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points and 16 rebounds. Sudanese center Titus Lual (201-1998) contributed with 10 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. The former international center Joel Kayira (208-2001) answered with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 14 rebounds and center Peter Sifuma (-1996) added 14 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for UCU Canons. UCU Canons' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
