The Regular Season in NBL just ended. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

Eighth-ranked Kampala R. (8-14) used its home court advantage to challenge second ranked KIU Titans (17-5) on Saturday. The visitors managed to secure only three-point victory 64-61. However their fans expected much easier game. KIU Titans forced 25 Kampala R. turnovers. Mpiya Juf orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds. The former international forward Edgar Munaba (196-1999) contributed with 21 points for the winners. Puati Kikomba replied with 19 points and 9 rebounds for Kampala R.KIU Titans maintains second position with 17-5 record having four points less than leader City Oilers. Kampala R. at the other side keeps the eighth place with 14 games lost. They share the position with Livingstone and JKL Dolphins.
Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Kampala: City Oilers (#1) and UCU Canons (#5). City Oilers (21-1) won against visiting UCU Canons (12-10) 71-64. Center Maker Mer scored 12 points and 9 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Rogers Dauna chipped in 9 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Lwabaga Ibanda responded with 15 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. City Oilers have an impressive 16-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 21-1 record. UCU Canons at the other side dropped to the fourth place with ten games lost. They share the position with KCCA P..
The game between fifth ranked UCU Canons (12-10) and 12th ranked Ndejje Angels (3-19) in Kampala on Sunday ended with biggest points difference. UCU Canons outscored guests from Kampala 73-49. Alier Jongroor notched 8 points and 14 rebounds to lead the effort. UCU Canons' coach felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Even a double-double of 12 points and 21 rebounds by Bolton Rujumba did not help to save the game for Ndejje Angels. UCU Canons moved-up to fourth place, which they share with KCCA P. Ndejje Angels lost twelfth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 19 lost games.




City Oilers - UCU Canons 71-64

Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Kampala: City Oilers (#1) and UCU Canons (#5). City Oilers (21-1) won against visiting UCU Canons (12-10) 71-64.
