Arthur Kaluma transfers to Texas

Arthur Kaluma

The University of Texas strengthened their roster with the addition of 22-year-old Ugandan-American ex-international forward Arthur Kaluma (6'7''-224lbs) for the 2024-25 season. He originally came from Boston (MA) and is moving from the University of Kansas State, where he spent his junior year. In 32 games, he recorded 14.4ppg, 7.0rpg, and 2.0apg last season. He was voted to All-Big 12 Conference Honorable Mention in 2024.
Kaluma played at Creighton University between 2021-23. He helped his team reach the Big East Tournament Semifinals and NCAA Elite Eight in 2023. His team reached the Big East Tournament Finals in 2022. Kaluma was selected to Big East All-Freshman Team and Big East All-Tournament Team that year.
He graduated from Dream City Christian School (Glendale, AZ) in 2021. Kaluma played at Frankford Middle School between 2016-18 and then at Universal Academy between 2019-20. He also played for Houston Hoops (TX) in AAU. Kaluma was a member of the Ugandan Senior National Team between 2021 and 2022.
Among many awards, he was voted to Pangos All-South Frosh/Soph Camp in Dallas, TX in 2016. He was selected to Pangos All-South Frosh/Soph Nominee in 2018. Kaluma was voted to Pangos All-Americans Camp in Norwalk, CA in 2019.
