Rwanda U18 girls’ team also lost 52-82 to Uganda in the in the earlier girls’ final match. Following the victories, Uganda’s U18 boys’ and girls’ teams qualified for the 2024 FIBA U18 AfroBasket which will take place in South Africa in August.
