Kikomba number one in Uganda NBL for round 21

Puati Kikomba had an amazing evening in the last round for Kampala Rockets, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 21.
The player had a double-double of 19 points and 21 rebounds, while his team outclassed JKL Dolphins (#10, 5-12) with 26-point margin 100-74. Kampala R. is placed at 8th position in Ugandan NBL. Kampala R. is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 5-11 record. In the team's last game Kikomba had a remarkable 58.3% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Kampala R., being already a very valuable addition to the team. Puati Kikomba has solid league stats. He is in league's top in points (4th best: 13.9ppg) and averages impressive 2.3bpg and 2.3spg.

The second best player in last round's games was Martin Buluma (G) of JKL Dolphins Kampala. Buluma had a very good evening with a double-double of 18 points and 12 rebounds. It was enough for JKL Dolphins to edge the higher-ranked Our Saviour (#7, 8-9) 67-65. This victory allowed JKL Dolphins to move up to 10th position in the standings. 12 lost games are too many comparing to just five victories JKL Dolphins managed to get this year. Buluma is one of the most experienced players at JKL Dolphins and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third on the list of top players last round was Stephen Otoa of KCCA Panthers (#4). Otoa scored 14 points and grabbed 12 rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of KCCA P., leading his team to a 95-88 win against slightly lower-ranked Jaguars (#6, 10-8). KCCA P. needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 10 victories and 6 lost games. Otoa has a very solid season. In 16 games in Uganda he scored 7.6ppg.
