Chuol Nyuot put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for second-ranked Namuwongo Blazers, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 18.
The player had a double-double of 17 points and 13 rebounds, while his team edged out Jaguars (#6, 8-7) 62-60. Blazers maintains the 2nd position in Ugandan NBL. They are still close to the very top. Blazers would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 12-3 record. Nyuot has many years of experience at Blazers, through which he has constantly improved. Chuol Nyuot averages this season 6.5ppg.

The second best player in last round's games was Bolton Rujumba of Ndejje University Angels. Rujumba had a very good evening with 21 points and 5 rebounds. Bad luck as Ndejje Angels was edged by the higher-ranked Blazers (#2, 12-3) 85-82. Ndejje Angels are still at the very bottom. 11 lost games are too many comparing to just three victories Ndejje Angels managed to get this year. Rujumba is a newcomer at Ndejje Angels and despite he is not a team leader yet, every game he becomes more reliable player. Hopefully performances like the last one will happen more often.

Third on the list of top players last round was George Agasi of JT Jaguars BC (#6). Agasi scored 15 points and grabbed 14 rebounds (!!!). Despite Agasi's great performance the Jaguars lost 60-62 to the higher-ranked Blazers (#2, 12-3). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Agasi has a very solid season. In 15 games in Uganda he scored 9.7ppg.

The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
