Kirabo number one in Uganda NBL for round 14 (by Hoops Agents)

Forward Sharon Kirabo (170-F-1996) had a great game in the last round for KIU Rangers, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 14.
The 27-year old player had a double-double of 27 points and 13 rebounds, while her team beat JTL Jaguars (#6, 8-5) 58-52. KIU Rangers maintains the 3rd position in Ugandan NBL. They are still close to the very top. KIU Rangers would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 10-2 record. In the team's last game Kirabo had a remarkable 60.0% from 2-point range. She has many years of experience at KIU Rangers, through which she has constantly improved. Sharon Kirabo averages this season 12.8ppg and 9.9rpg.

The second best player in last round's games was young international guard Brenda Ekone (152-G-1996) of league's leader Just Kip Living Lady Dolphins. Ekone had a very good evening with 25 points and 5 rebounds. Of course she led JKL Dolphins to another comfortable win 68-49 over the lower-ranked Magic Stormers (#7, 6-7) being unquestionably team leader. Of course JKL Dolphins still keep the league's top spot. Her team belongs to top of the standings with 13-1 record and is considered one of the main candidates for the league title. Ekone is one of the most experienced players at JKL Dolphins and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 18.8ppg (#1).

Third on the list of top players last round was international Shakirah Nanvubya (2000) of UCU Lady Canons (#4). Nanvubya scored 25 points. She was a key player of UCU Ladies, leading her team to a 62-38 easy win against the lower-ranked Lady Tomahawks (#9, 4-10). UCU Ladies needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 10 victories and 3 lost games. Nanvubya has a great season in Uganda. After 13 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 3.4apg (7th best).

8. Kur Ajah) of Magic Stormers - 16 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists
9. Dorah Nakijjoba (F) of Lady Tomahawks - 8 points and 9 rebounds
10. Mutesi Nasiimu) of Lady Tomahawks - 6 points and 12 rebounds

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
