What a coincidence that all visitors won their games. Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management.

The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Kampala: KIU Rangers (#3) and JTL Jaguars (#5). JTL Jaguars were defeated at home 52-58 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. KIU Rangers forced 20 JTL Jaguars turnovers. Forward Sharon Kirabo (170-1996) had a double-double by scoring 27 points and 13 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Mary Amaniyo (180-2003) chipped in 8 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. KIU Rangers' coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Mercy Batamuliza responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 16 rebounds. KIU Rangers (10-2) have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with KCCA Leopards. JTL Jaguars at the other side dropped to the sixth position with five games lost. KIU Rangers' supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Kampala to the arena Kampala Uni.
Another interesting game was again a derby between two teams from Kampala: JKL Dolphins (#1) and Magic Stormers (#7). Magic Stormers were smashed at home by 19 points 49-68 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Magic Stormers. The former international guard Brenda Ekone (152-1996) notched 25 points and 5 rebounds to lead the effort and Hope Akello supported her with 11 points and 13 rebounds. Even 16 points by forward Daphine Adong did not help to save the game for Magic Stormers. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. JKL Dolphins (13-1) have an impressive 13-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position. Magic Stormers at the other side keep the seventh place with seven games lost. JKL Dolphins' supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Kampala KCCA Leopards.
9th ranked Lady Tomahawks (4-10) were outscored at home by fourth ranked UCU Ladies (10-3) with the biggest margin this round 62-38 on Saturday night. The best player for the winners was Shakirah Nanvubya who scored 25 points (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field). Aisha Namakula produced 6 points and 8 rebounds for the hosts.
