Munaba number one in Uganda NBL for round 15

Former international Forward Edgar Munaba (196-F-1999) had a very impressive game in the last round for KIU Titans Kampala, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 15.
The 24-year old player had a double-double of 26 points and 17 rebounds, while his team crushed JKL Dolphins (#10, 2-7) with 20-point margin 82-62. KIU Titans is placed at 5th position in Ugandan NBL. They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. KIU Titans will need more victories to improve their 5-2 record. In the team's last game Munaba had a remarkable 57.1% from 2-point range. It's his second year at KIU Titans and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Edgar Munaba has solid league stats. He is league's best scorer averaging so far 17.0ppg. Munaba is in league's top in rebounds (2nd best: 13.0rpg) and averages impressive 52.7% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young international power forward James Okello (193-PF-1990) of league's leader City Oilers Kampala. Okello had a very good evening with a double-double of 21 points and 11 rebounds. Of course he led City Oilers to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked UCU Canons (#6, 5-3) 80-56. Of course City Oilers still keep the league's top spot. His team belongs to top of the standings with 10-1 record and is considered one of the main candidates for the league title. Okello is well-known at City Oilers and is a proven leader in his second season with the team.

Third on the list of top players last round was Bruce Okullo (SF) of Livingstone (#8). Okullo scored 21 points and grabbed 11 rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Livingstone, leading his team to a 65-58 win against Power (4-6). Okullo has a very solid season. In 7 games in Uganda he scored 7.3ppg.
