Stephen Otoa put on an amazing game in the last round for KCCA Panthers, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 12.
The player was the main contributor (8 points, eleven rebounds and six assists) to his team's victory, helping them to edge out Power (#9, 3-5) 71-67. KCCA P. is placed at 3rd position in Ugandan NBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. KCCA P. will need more victories to improve their 6-4 record. Otoa just recently signed at KCCA P., being already a very valuable addition to the team. Stephen Otoa averages this season 6.4ppg and 5.7rpg.

The second best player in last round's games was Peter Cheng (F) of league's second-best Namuwongo Blazers. Cheng had a very good evening with a double-double of 22 points and 10 rebounds. Bad luck as Blazers lost that game 57-63 to the lower-ranked Power (#9, 3-5). This loss caused Blazers to drop to 2nd position in the standings. It was just his team's 2nd loss this season, while they won 8 other games. Cheng is a newcomer at Blazers, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 16.2ppg (#1). He also registered 8.4 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was forward Samad Imran (F-1993) of Betway Power BC (#9). Imran showcased his all-around game by recording 14 points, 18 rebounds (!!!) and 4 assists in the last round. Despite Imran's great performance the Power lost 67-71 to the higher-ranked KCCA P. (#3, 6-4). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Power not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 5 games, recording just three victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Imran could try to bring Power's a little bit higher in the standings. Imran has individually a great season in Uganda. After only 8 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 15.0ppg (2nd best) and rebounds with 13.5rpg (2nd best).

4. Edrine Walujjo (193-F-2000) of City Oilers - 17 points, 3 rebounds and 4 assists

The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
