Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked City Oilers as it allowed them to take a leadership position. City Oilers smashed 8th ranked Livingstone in Kampala 99-63. City Oilers dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Livingstone's 38. City Oilers forced 25 Livingstone turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of international forward Rogers Dauna (196-2000) who helped to win the game recording 12 points and 9 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) and international point guard Fayed Baale (173-2001) who added 18 points during the contest. The best for the losing side was Diopa Lukusa with 12 points and 9 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. City Oilers have a solid three-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Newly promoted Livingstone keeps the eighth place with five games lost. They share the position with Power. Livingstone will play next round against Power trying to get back on the winning streak. City Oilers will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
Leading Blazers (8-2) recorded its second loss in Kampala. Hosts were defeated by ninth ranked Power (3-5) 63-57. It ended at the same time the eight-game winning streak of Blazers. The winners were led by center Phillip Ameny (-1989) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 12 points and 14 rebounds and Lemaniku Reagan supported him with 18 points and 7 rebounds. Even a double-double of 22 points and 10 rebounds by forward Peter Cheng did not help to save the game for Blazers. Power moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Livingstone. Blazers at the other side dropped to the second position with two games lost. Power will play against Livingstone (#8) in the next round. Blazers will have a break next round.
Another interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Kampala: City Oilers (#2) and Kampala R. (#12). Kampala R. was smashed at home by 24 points 59-83. The best player for the winners was Edrine Walujjo who scored 17 points and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was Chris Shamamba who recorded 15 points and 4 assists. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. City Oilers have a solid three-game winning streak. Defending champion (8-1) keeps a position of league leader. Kampala R. lost fifth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with nine games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.

In the last game of round 12 Power lost to KCCA P. on the opponent's court 67-71.
