Kizito's 24 points give him Player of the Week award

Caesar Kizito

35-year old forward Caesar Kizito (F-1988) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for KCCA Panthers and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 8.
He had the game-high 24 points adding three rebounds and three assists for KCCA P. in his team's victory, helping them to crush Ndejje Angels (#11, 2-5) with 19-point margin 70-51. KCCA P. is placed at 3rd position in Ugandan league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. KCCA P. will need more victories to improve their 4-3 record. In the team's last game Kizito had a remarkable four three-pointers out of 7 attempts. He just recently signed at KCCA P., being already a very valuable addition to the team. Kizito has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (6th best: 14.4ppg) and averages solid 2.6spg.

Second best performed player last round was Micheal Makiadi (C-1989) of top-ranked Namuwongo Blazers. He is Rwandan center in his first season at Blazers. In the last game Makiadi recorded an impressive 24 points and 9 rebounds. Of course Blazers cruised to a 85-76 relatively comfortable win over the lower-ranked Jaguars (#7, 3-3). This victory allowed Blazers to move up to 1st position in the standings. His team lost just one game this season, while they won 5 matches. Makiadi is a newcomer at Blazers and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to Francis Kasinde of Kampala Rockets (#12). Kasinde scored 23 points and grabbed 13 rebounds (!!!). Despite Kasinde's great performance the Kampala R. lost 60-72 to the higher-ranked Power (#8, 2-2). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Kampala R. can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have extremely bad season and 1-7 record places them at the very bottom of the standings. Kasinde has a very solid season. In 8 games in Uganda he scored 12.3ppg.
