Experienced Moses Mugisha (C/F-1984) put on an amazing game in the last round for Our Saviour Kampala and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 7.
The 39-year old had the game-high 26 points adding eight rebounds and two assists for Our Saviour in his team's victory, helping them to beat Jaguars (#6, 3-3) 70-65. Our Saviour is placed at 4th position in Ugandan NBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Our Saviour will need more victories to improve their 4-3 record. In the team's last game Mugisha had a remarkable 72.7% from 2-point range and got three three-pointers out of 6 attempts. It's his second year at Our Saviour and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Mugisha has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (3rd best: 15.7ppg) and averages solid 2.7spg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was Were Mark of JT Jaguars BC. Mark impressed basketball fans with 22 points and 4 rebounds. Bad luck as Jaguars lost that game 65-70 to slightly higher-ranked Our Saviour (#4, 4-3). Jaguars managed to keep the same 6th spot in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 3-3 record is not bad and everything may still change. Mark is one of the most experienced players at Jaguars and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was another Our Saviour's star - Joseph Wacha (G-1991). Wacha scored 5 points and passed 6 assists. He was another key player of Our Saviour Kampala, helping his team with a 70-65 win against slightly lower-ranked Jaguars (#6, 3-3). Our Saviour needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 4 victories and 3 lost games. Wacha has a great season in Uganda. After only 6 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 3.3apg (9th best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Ian Lubwama) of Jaguars - 12 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists
5. George Agasi) of Jaguars - 9 points, 2 rebounds and 2 assists
6. John Teko) of Our Saviour - 5 points and 3 rebounds
7. Chuma Fadhili) of Jaguars - 5 points, 10 rebounds and 2 assists
8. Abubakah Kasasa) of Jaguars - 7 rebounds
9. Dickson Asiku (F) of Our Saviour - 5 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists
10. Kenneth Mesho) of Our Saviour - 5 points and 9 rebounds

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
