Bagaala's 40-point game gives her Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

Margaret Bagaala had a great game in the last round for league's best team KCCA Leopards and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 4.
She had the game-high 40 points adding six rebounds and three assists for KCCA Leopards in her team's victory, helping them to outclass Nabisunsa (#10, 1-4) with 67-point margin 110-43. It allowed KCCA Leopards to take over top position in the Ugandan NBL. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but KCCA Leopards already had a very good start winning all 5 without losing a single one. In the team's last game Bagaala had a remarkable 77.3% from 2-point range. She just recently signed at KCCA Leopards, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Bagaala has impressive league stats. She is in league's top in points (6th best: 18.0ppg) and averages solid 3.3spg and 61.8% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Stella Kiberenge of A1 Challenge Kampala. She is a in her first season at A1 Challenge. In the last game Kiberenge recorded an impressive double-double of 30 points and 16 rebounds. Of course she led A1 Challenge to another comfortable win outscoring slightly lower-ranked Nabisunsa (#10, 1-4) 99-64. The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. But A1 Challenge managed to improve slightly their position in standings taking 9th place. 3 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory A1 Challenge managed to get this year. Kiberenge is one of the most experienced players at A1 Challenge and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 18.8ppg (#3). She also registered 10.3 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Hope Akello (183-F/C-1997) of league's second-best Just Kip Living Lady Dolphins. Akello showcased her all-around game by recording 11 points, 20 rebounds (!!!) and 10 assists (!!!) in the last round. She was a key player of JKL Dolphins, leading her team to a 78-56 easy win against Magic Stormers (#12, 0-4). JKL Dolphins started extremely well this year. They recorded 4 victories without losing a single game. Akello turns to be one of the very best players in the league while she is also a leader of the top team having her eyes on the championship title. Akello has a great season in Uganda. After only 2 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 17.0rpg (#1 in league) and assists with 6.0apg (best passer).

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
