Rose Musundi put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for YMCA Lady Hamstars and that's her to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 3.
The had the game-high 23 points adding five rebounds and four assists for YMCA Hamstars in her team's victory, helping them to outclass Nabisunsa (#8, 1-2) with 38-point margin 80-42. YMCA Hamstars is placed at 9th position in Ugandan NBL. The season is still in it's early stage, so the team may have a chance to improve their current position in the standings. They lost 3 games and had just one victory. Musundi just recently signed at YMCA Hamstars and just after two games she already turned to be a very valuable addition to the team. Musundi has impressive league stats. She is league's best scorer averaging so far 22.0ppg. Musundi is in league's top in and averages solid 5.5spg and 52.0% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young guard Stella Lunkuse (G-1998) of UPDF Lady Tomahawks. Lunkuse impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 15 points and 12 rebounds. Of course she led Lady Tomahawks to another comfortable win outscoring Kampala Uni (0-3) 73-37. The season is still at the very beginning and this victory may help a lot. Let's wait for the next round. Lunkuse is one of the most experienced players at Lady Tomahawks and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 18.7ppg (#4). She also registered 11.7 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was international forward Sarah Ageno (176-F-1996) of JT Lady Jaguars (#6). Ageno scored 16 points and grabbed 18 rebounds (!!!). Despite Ageno's great performance the JTL Jaguars lost 53-65 to KCCA Leopards (#2, 3-0). But her team cannot count on just a single player as she also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing JTL Jaguars needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 2 victories and 2 lost games. Ageno has a great season in Uganda. After only 4 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 13.8rpg (2nd best).
