The Regular Season in NBL just started. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

Jaguars smashed Ndejje Angels at home 82-61. Jaguars had a 40-26 advantage in offensive rebounds. Aaron Eboyu fired 17 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Forward Kevin Moru chipped in 21 points and 5 rebounds. James Obrack produced 18 points and 8 rebounds for lost side. Ndejje Angels will play next round against strong Our Saviour trying to get back on the winning streak. It will be a derby game for which supporters look forward to, where their team will travel locally in Kampala to the arena of Our Saviour. Jaguars will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.

An interesting game where UCU Canons beat host Kampala R. 69-58 on Saturday evening. Abraham Isyagi stepped up and scored 9 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. UCU Canons' coach used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side Francis Kasinde responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds. UCU Canons' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Kampala to the arena KIU Titans.

Other games of round 1 were quite predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
Blazers defeated KIU Titans in Kampala 63-59. JKL Dolphins beat KCCA P. at home 69-64. Our Saviour won against Blazers on the opponent's court 75-65. JKL Dolphins lost to undefeated Our Saviour in a home game 52-60.
The best stats of 1st round was 17 points and 5 rebounds by Moses Mugisha of Our Saviour.



Livingstone - Jaguars 53-70

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Livingstone at the home court. Hosts were defeated by Jaguars 70-53. Jaguars dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Livingstone's 30. They outrebounded Livingstone 55-40 including 17 on the offensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of Ian Lubwama who helped to win the game recording 15 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists. Abraham Dut contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Four Jaguars players scored in double figures. There was a minor upset in Kampala where KIU Titans were defeated by Blazers 63-59 on Friday. Blazers forced 22 KIU Titans turnovers. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Blazers made 7 blocks. Forward Joseph Chuma (-1991) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winners and the former international guard Ochera Innocent (-1997) chipped in 21 points. Blazers' coach used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. At the losing side Edgar Munaba responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 16 rebounds and Kasereka Tembo scored 18 points and 5 rebounds. There was a small surprise in Kampala where JKL Dolphins defeated KCCA P. 69-64 on Sunday. JKL Dolphins forced 25 KCCA P. turnovers and outrebounded them 54-39 including 21 on the offensive glass. Arthur Wanyoto stepped up and scored 17 points and 8 rebounds for the winners and Austin Odiwuor chipped in 10 points and 12 rebounds. At the losing side forward Caesar Kizito (-1988) responded with 18 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Gaius Mahamba scored 15 points and 8 rebounds. KCCA P.'s coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
