Joseph Kumbai had a very impressive game in the last round for Ndejje Angels and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 15.
He had a double-double of 23 points and 25 rebounds, while his team lost the game against Our Saviour (#5, 6-4) 53-65. Ndejje Angels maintains the 11th position in Ugandan league. Too late to salvage the team, which is currently ranked such low. They already lost 8 games and recorded just three victories. In the team's last game Kumbai had a remarkable 55.6% from 2-point range. He turned to be Ndejje Angels' top player in his first season with the team. Kumbai has impressive league stats. He leads league in rebounds with 14.5rpg. Kumbai
Second best performed player last round was Samad Imran (F-1993) of Power. He is a forward in his first (recently joined) season at Power. In the last game Imran recorded impressive double-double of 15 points and 19 rebounds. Of course Power cruised to a 63-55 relatively comfortable win over slightly higher-ranked Our Saviour (#5, 6-4). Power's 6th position in the standings has not changed. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 5-6 record. Imran is one of the most experienced players at Power and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.
Third place about best performers goes to guard Gideon Kasasa (G-1998) of Kampala R. (#10). Kasasa showcased his all-around game by recording 23 points, ten rebounds and four assists in the last round. Despite Kasasa's great performance Kampala R. lost 68-94 to the league's current leader City Oilers (#1, 11-0). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Kasasa has individually a great season in Uganda. After 11 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 3.8apg (5th best).

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
