Joshua number one in Uganda NBL for round 6 (by Hoops Agents)

Duallo Joshua had an amazing evening in the last round for Tropical R., receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 6.
The player had a double-double of 14 points and 19 rebounds, while his team beat Victoria USY (#12, 1-7) 68-59. The game rather meaningless between the teams, which do not have any influence on top of the standings. Tropical R. is placed at 9th position in Ugandan NBL. Tropical R. is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 3-4 record. Joshua just recently signed at Tropical R., being already a very valuable addition to the team. Duallo Joshua has solid league stats. He is in league's top in rebounds (4th best: 12.0rpg), assists (6th best: 3.3apg) and averages impressive 1.4bpg and 52.9% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young Sudanese Titus Lual (C-1998) of league's leader UCU Canons. Lual had a very good evening with 9 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists. Of course UCU Canons cruised to a 86-77 relatively comfortable win over the lower-ranked Ndejje Angels (#10, 3-4). Of course UCU Canons still keep the league's top spot. His team lost just one game this season, while they won 8 matches. Lual is one of the most experienced players at UCU Canons and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third on the list of top players last round was forward Derrick Katumba (194-F-1993) of JKL Dolphins (#7). Katumba scored 17 points and grabbed eleven rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of JKL Dolphins, leading his team to a 63-48 easy win against Falcons (#13, 0-7). JKL Dolphins needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 4 victories and 4 lost games. Katumba has a very solid season. In 6 games in Uganda he scored 6.2ppg.
