Soro Geoffrey had a very impressive game in the last round for second-ranked BETWAY POWER BASKETBALL CLUBBWP and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 5.
He had the game-high 28 points adding seven rebounds and two assists for Betway Power in his team's victory, helping them to beat UPDF (#6, 3-3) 76-71. Betway Power is placed at 2nd position in Ugandan league. They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. Betway Power will need more victories to improve their 5-2 record. In the team's last game Geoffrey had a remarkable 57.9% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Betway Power, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Geoffrey has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (5th best: 14.6ppg).
Second best performed player last round was Nyong Marrier of Victoria USY. He is a in his first season at Victoria USY. In the last game Marrier recorded impressive double-double of 30 points and 11 rebounds. It was enough for Victoria USY to edge the higher-ranked UCU Canons (#1, 6-1) by 3 points 66-63. This victory allowed Victoria USY to leave bottom place moving a little bit up to 12th position in the standings. 5 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory Victoria USY managed to get this year. Marrier is one of the most experienced players at Victoria USY and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.
Third place about best performers goes to guard Ivan Muhwezi (182-SG-1998) of City Oilers (#3). Muhwezi scored 26 points and grabbed twelve rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of City Oilers, leading his team to a 89-55 easy win against Falcons (#13, 0-5). City Oilers is closer and closer to top of the standings. They will still need more victories. But 4-1 record is not that bad... Muhwezi has a very solid season. In 5 games in Uganda he scored 11.2ppg.

The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
