International Forward Stanley Mugerwa (F-95) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Warriors, receiving a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 28.
The 24-year old player had a double-double of 10 points and 16 rebounds, while his team beat KIU Titans (#6, 13-9) 55-46. Warriors maintains the 3rd position in Ugandan NBL. They are still close to the very top. Warriors would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 18-4 record. Mugerwa has many years of experience at Warriors, through which he has constantly improved. Stanley Mugerwa averages this season 7.6ppg and 8.0rpg.

The second best player in last round's games was another Warriors' star - 25-year old Chris Omanye (183-G-94). Omanye had a very good evening with 16 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Of course Warriors cruised to a 55-46 relatively comfortable win over the lower-ranked KIU Titans (#6, 13-9). Warriors' 3rd position in the standings has not changed. His team lost just four games this season, while they won 18 matches. Omanye is a newcomer at Warriors, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was DR Congolese guard Micheal Bwanga (G) of KIU Titans (#6). Bwanga scored 16 points and grabbed ten rebounds. Despite Bwanga's great performance KIU Titans lost 46-55 to the higher-ranked Warriors (#3, 18-4). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing KIU Titans needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 13 victories and 9 lost games. Bwanga has a very solid season. In 17 games in Uganda he scored 13.2ppg. He also has 4.9rpg and 2.1spg.

4. Mark Opiyo (G-90) of Warriors - 17 points, 3 rebounds and 4 assists

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
