) put on an amazing game in the last round for league's leader and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 2.
The had a double-double of 23 points and 14 rebounds, while his team outclassed, the league's bottom-ranked team (#0, ) with 40-point margin 92-52. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed to jump to the first place in the South African BNL. But it's just the very beginning of the season and won both games without losing any. It's too early to say anything as the standings can be changed completely after next round. In the team's last game had a remarkable five three-pointers out of 11 attempts. He has many years of experience at , through which he has constantly improved.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young international Marcus Mokoena (1992) of Tshwane Suns. Mokoena impressed basketball fans with 12 points and 9 rebounds. Of course he led Suns to another comfortable win outscoring Eagles (0-2) 53-32. The season is still at the very beginning and this victory may help a lot. Let's wait for the next round. Mokoena is one of the most experienced players at Suns and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 12.0ppg (#6). He also registered 9.0 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was another Suns' star - Allan Mametja (189-SG-2003). Mametja scored 4 points and passed 5 assists. He was another key player of Tshwane Suns, helping his team with a 53-32 easy win against Eagles (#10, 0-2). Suns needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 1 victory and 1 lost game. The season just started for Mametja as he played only first game. But it already looks like he can be another team's leader.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Siphumle Qanya (182-PG-1993) of Suns - 6 points and 5 rebounds
5. Bokang Boikanyo) of Eagles - 6 points and 2 rebounds
6. Nceba Mamabolo (195-PF-1997) of Eagles - 5 points and 13 rebounds

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
