The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Magic maintains first position with 2-0 record, which they share with Marlins. Eagles at the other side dropped to the third place with one game lost. Magic is looking forward to face Warriors (#4) in Bloemfontein in the next round. Eagles will play on the road against the league's second-placed Panthers in Johannesburg and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
