Ntshuxeko Manyani put on an amazing game in the last round for Soweto Panthers and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 7.
He had a double-double of 14 points and 14 rebounds, while his team edged out FS Warriors (#7, 0-2), the league's bottom-ranked team 51-48. Panthers is placed at 3rd position in South African league. S.Panthers is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 1-2 record. It was one of impressive evenings for Manyani as usually he does not deliver so high stats. Ntshuxeko Manyani averages just after three games 9.3ppg and 10.7rpg.

Second best performed player last round was Khomanani Makamu of league's second-best Limpopo Pride. He is a in his 3rd season at L.Pride. In the last game Makamu recorded an impressive double-double of 12 points and 15 rebounds. Of course he led Pride to another comfortable win outscoring FS Warriors (#7, 0-2) 58-38. L.Pride's second position in Group A has not changed. His team's 2-1 record is not bad at all. Makamu is one of the most experienced players at L.Pride and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to center Khotso Mahloane (203-C-1992) of Free State Warriors (#7). Mahloane scored 13 points and grabbed 17 rebounds (!!!). Despite Mahloane's great performance the Warriors lost 48-51 to the higher-ranked S.Panthers (#3, 1-2). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. FS Warriors can only dream about fighting for top spots in Group A. They have awful season losing so far all 2 games. Mahloane has individually a great season in South Africa. After only 2 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 15.0rpg (4th best).

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
